Steps to Reproduce

See below for details.

Details

If the Impersonator value of the SPSIntegration module on the Extensions screen of the AgilePoint Server Configuration utility is entered incorrectly (e.g. as "domain/administrator" instead of "domain\administrator"), then the Task List web part will cause any SharePoint page it is used on to be inaccessible.

Under such conditions, as soon as the Task List web part is dropped onto a page (e.g. a portal page) and/or whenever a page that uses the web part is loaded in the browser, the browser will automatically redirect to an error page with the text "The TaskNumber Web Part appears to be causing a problem." (as shown above).

Correcting the Impersonator value of the SPSIntegration module on the Extensions screen of the AgilePoint Server Configuration utility will resolve the problem and make both the page and web part display correctly again.
