Setting up AgilePoint Server to Run as a Windows Service
- To open the AgilePoint Server Manager, click Start > All Programs > AgilePoint > AgilePoint Server Manager.
- On the AgilePoint Server Manager window, click the Add (+) button to create an instance of the AgilePoint Server service.
- In the right pane, complete the fields as required.

Service Name – The name you want to use to identify the Windows service associated with the AgilePoint Server instance.

Display Name – The name you want to display to users to identify the AgilePoint Server instance.

Location - The path to which you want to create the AgilePoint Windows Service instance.

Ports – Any two free, unique ports. When running as a Windows service, AgilePoint Server can bind with other applications using either HTTP or TCP. Provide a port number for each type of connection. Do not use the port for your AgilePoint web application. Click Check Availability to determine if the ports you entered are free.

User Name and Password - Enter the credentials for the authenticated AgilePoint Server user.

Site - The web site you created for AgilePoint during pre-installation.

Virtual Directory - The name you want to use for the virtual directory that contains the files for the Enterprise Manager web application.

Application Pool - The application pool for the Enterprise Manager web application you want to run.
- When you have finished, click Update.
- If you are prompted to activate the AgilePoint Server, follow the prompts to activate your AgilePoint Server software.
- The AgilePoint Configuration window opens. Follow the procedure to Configure AgilePoint Server.
