Import Application activity

An activity that imports an application from an external data source to AgilePoint NX.



Configure the Import Application activity

To configure the Import Application activity, do the procedure in this topic.

How to Start

  1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the AgilePoint NX tab.
      2. On the AgilePoint NX tab, drag the Import Application activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.

Procedure

  1. Complete the fields on the General Configuration screen.

    For more information, refer to Configure General Options for a System Activity.

  2. Click Source Configuration .
  3. On the Source Repository screen, select the source location for your file.
  4. Click Import Application .
  5. Complete the fields on these screens.
    1. Import Application Configuration > Application screen.
    2. Import Application Configuration > Response screen.

  6. (Optional) Click Advanced > E-mail Notifications .

    For more information, refer to Configure E-mail Notifications for Any Activity.

General Configuration

Specifies the common information for a system activity.

Specifies the original, or source, location type for your files.

Function:
Specifies that Box is your document source location.

Dropbox

Function:
Specifies that Dropbox is your document source location.

FTP

Function:
Specifies that FTP is your document source location.

Google Drive

Function:
Specifies that Google Drive is your document source location.

NetSuite

Function:
Specifies that NetSuite is your document source location.

OneDrive

Function:
Specifies that OneDrive is your document source location.

Function:

Salesforce

File System

Function:
Specifies that a folder on your local machine is the source location of your file.

Publish Application After Importing?

Function:
Specifies if the demo application is published when the import is complete.
Accepted Values:
  • Deselected - Does not publish the application.
  • Selected - Publishes the application.

Version Increment Count

Function:
Specifies the process data variable that gets the version number of the application.
To Open this Field:
  1. On the Import Application Configuration screen, in the Application tab, select Want to Publish Application After Importing.

Description

Function:
An optional description for your application.
