(Example) Configure the Manager Name Text Box for the Create Absence Request eForm

To configure the Manager Name text box form control to show the name of the form user's manager on the Create Absence Request eForm, do the procedure in this topic.

Procedure

  1. On the eForm Builder screen, in the Toolbox, open, the Common Controls tab.


  2. On the Common Controls tab, drag a Text Box form control onto your eForm.
  3. On the Field Setting - Text Box screen, click the General tab.


  4. In the Label field, enter Manager Name.


  5. In the Internal Name field, enter ManagerUserName.


  6. Click Process Data > System Data.


  7. On the System Data tab, drag the User ManagerName process data variable to the Default Value field.


  8. Click the Configure tab.


  9. Select Mandatory.


  10. To save the changes, click Close Screen .
  11. The eForm Builder shows the Manager Name field for the Create Absence Request eForm.
