How to Start

  1. On the Application Explorer screen, do one of these:

    • Add an activity:
      1. In the Process Builder, in the Activity Library, open the Salesforce Salesforce icon tab.
      2. On the Salesforce Salesforce icon tab, drag the Update Multiple Entities (Salesforce) Update Multiple Entities icon activity onto your process.
    • Change an activity:
      1. In your process, double-click your activity.
  3. On the Update Multiple Entities Configuration screen, click Update Multiple Entity Update Multiple Entity icon.

Procedure

  1. On the Update Multiple Entity Configuration screen, in the Salesforce field, select your Salesforce access token.

    To create a new access token, click Add Token Add Token icon. For more information, refer to Access Token for Salesforce.

  2. In the Entity Name list, select your entity.
  3. To connect the request data from the source system to your schema, complete this field as necessary:

    Request Mapping

    Function:
    Connects the Salesforce API request parameter to your schema. This is mandatory only if the request passes data from the process schema to parameters in the Salesforce API.
    To Open this Field:
    1. On the Update Multiple Entity Configuration screen, click the Request tab.
    Accepted Values:
    Click the Schema Mapping Schema Mapping icon button to open the Schema Mapper.

    Use this screen to connect the request to the data model for your process.

    Default Value:
    None
  4. To connect response data from the web service call to your process, do one of these.
    • To connect the response to your process schema, complete this field as necessary:

      Map Response to AgilePoint Schema

      Function:
      Specifies the connection from the Salesforce API response parameter to your schema.
      To Open this Field:
      1. On the Update Multiple Entity Configuration screen, click the Response tab.
      Accepted Values:
      Click the Schema Mapping Schema Mapping icon button to open the Schema Mapper screen.

      Use this screen to connect the request to the data model for your process.

      Default Value:
      None
    • To connect the response to a process data variable, complete this field as necessary:

      Function:
      Specifies a process data variables that contains more than one entity ID from NetSuite
      To Open this Field:
      1. On the Update Multiple Entity Configuration screen, click the Response tab.
      Accepted Values:
      A process data variable that represents more than one entity ID, separated by semi-colons (;).

  5. To change the owner for the entity, complete this field as necessary:
